English Arts & Crafts Tool Chest Course

Mahogany tool chest class

Instructor: Mario Rodriguez
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

In the best tradition of the H. O. Studley and Benjamin Seaton tool chests, PFW is offering a 2-weekend workshop on this small Arts and Crafts Tool chest, designed by Mario Rodriguez.

The design was inspired by the furniture of the English arts and crafts movement and features two neatly dovetailed drawers, two sliding and removable tills, a recessed lid for saw storage, and a deep well for storing planes and other larger tools. Compact and elegant, it’s the perfect repository for your most prized tools.

This solid mahogany chest has both turned and bracket feet, through dovetailed corners, and is fitted with the best brass hardware available today.

PFW recommends, but does not require, that students consider taking one or more of the following courses in preparation for this exciting project.

-- Dovetails or Dovetails Refresher course.

-- Installation of Traditional Hardware Course - Saturday, October 1, 2011
