Woodturning Course III

Instructor: Mario Rodriguez
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (day)
Maximum Class Size: 10

After becoming proficient on the lathe and creating simple shapes, woodworkers will want to take on more ambitious projects and introduce more ornate elements into their work.

This workshop will teach you how to get more from your woodturning.  Each student will create elaborate effects, such as: cutting flutes and reeds on a turned leg with a lathe-mounted router jig, making a sliding dovetail in a column base, creating split turnings, cutting arched shoulders (transitioning from square to round), and turning a decorative finial.

This is the workshop that could change the direction of your woodworking, imbuing your work with real character and richness.

Course fee (including materials) $325
