PFW offers a wide range of technique and project-based courses which have been taught to a specific format and schedule. That often meantprospective students weren’t able to attend a particular course because of busy personal schedules and responsibilities.
We have recently reformatted and scheduled our popular Basic Wood Working and Total Beginner 1 to provide better access to those students who would otherwise miss out on these important offerings.
The Basic Woodworking course is an expanded version of our regular Total Beginner 2 course. In addition to building a beautiful coffee table, students will learn the fundamentals of milling wood and the operation of woodworking machinery. Normally, this course is taught over the Summer, during the weekdays. In February/March 2016, we’re teaching the Basic Woodworking course on 2 consecutive weekends.
Our Daytime Total Beginner I is like our regular TBI, only conducted on 7 consecutive Tuesday mornings, beginning on March 1, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. This will allow students with free time during the day to attend this important skill-building course.
If schedule conflicts have interfered with your woodworking education in the past, consider joining us in 2016. Alan and Mario
