This is the traditional way to achieve a brilliant finish. In our workshop we use shellac, linseed oil, and pumice to create a finish with depth and clarity unequaled by any other method. Students learn both shellac and lacquer padding techniques. A classic French polish is the finish chosen by the experts for the world's masterpieces.
