For some projects, a hand-applied traditional finish is the only way to go. For most traditional projects, a shellac finish would be the most appropriate. For some every day pieces, a renewable oil/varnish finish might be better. Either of these finishes can be applied in any small shop without special equipment and easily repaired or rejuvenated.
In this workshop, students will learn about the available range of easy-to-apply products and easy-to-learn techniques that will provide that beautiful finishing touch to all your projects.
