Queen Anne Side Table
Join us for a week of using both power and hand tools to build a Queen Anne side table, complete with cabriole legs and scrolled aprons. From the verb "caper", meaning to leap or prance in a playful manner, a cabriole leg gives both movement and grace to this small table. This particular leg is designed in the style of a Philadelphia piece and features a slipper foot.
In this course we will cover mortise and tenon joinery, proper use of the drill press, bandsaw and router, and the use of planes, spokeshaves, rasps, files and scrapers to shape and smooth these legs, aprons and top.
Course fee (including materials fee) $925
