In our series of 3 workshops, PFW instructors will cover the best and safest ways to get the most out of your router.

Router Basics I

This one day (two evening) workshop covers basic and common uses of the hand-held router.  Students will learn about the different types of routers (fixed and plunge), how to select a router, shop for bits and cutters, set up a router, perform test cuts and samples, and create complex moldings.

Students will perform a series of simple exercises to develop competence and confidence when using this powerful portable tool. Use one of the PFW routers, or bring your own.
