By popular demand PFW is now offering a one week summer course in the basics of woodworking. In one week you will:
-- Learn the safe operation of stationary woodworking machines;
-- Be able to effectively use and maintain basic hand tools;
-- Learn to mill rough hardwood stock (the importance of "flat, square and parallel");
-- Understand the nature of wood movement and basic furniture design principles; and
-- Build a trestle base coffee table of solid hardwood using traditional joinery techniques
