  • February 2 - 3, 2019  9am - 4pm

This two-day workshop explores the tools and techniques used to create fine, hand-cut dovetail joinery. The focus of the workshop is the development of skills with an emphasis on the proper use of hand tools to create this very beautiful and useful joint.

Half-blind dovetails, common in drawer construction, will also be demonstrated and practiced as time permits. The weekend is full of demonstrations and hands-on work aimed at improving participant’s woodworking skills.

This workshop is for beginning and intermediate woodworkers who are interested in improving their hand skills and who have a desire for excellence and personal satisfaction in their work.

Strongly recommended prerequisite:  Basic Sharpening, offered several times a year.
