Just in time for Mother’s Day, make a set of 3 mitered treasure boxes that handsomely show off complementing wood colors, patterns and grain. Contrasting hardwood splines decorate the boxes and help strengthen the miter joints. The interior is left open for storing or presenting small treasures. The boxes are 2” tall and 3 1/2” square.
Choose from a variety of wood species to assemble the projects to your liking. These small boxes are a lot of fun to both make and present as gifts. Be prepared to take orders for more boxes from family and friends! Participants will come away with the techniques necessary to make the boxes again independently.
If the 2-evening classes don’t work for you, we’re also offering the class as a 1-day course, the day before Mother’s day on Saturday, May 11th.
Cost includes all materials. No tools required. Saturday students provide their own lunch.
