Making a Hardwood Cutting & Serving Board

In this evening class, students will create their own beautiful hardwood cutting board while learning about the process of safely shaping solid wood into attractive shapes. Participants will gain experience with several woodworking machines and hand tools, including the bandsaw, drill press, trim router, orbital sander, and spokeshave. The sky’s the limit when it comes to designs and we will have examples available to help stir creative ideas. By the evening’s end, students will have the satisfaction of having made an attractive, solid-wood cutting board. The class is suitable for all skill levels.

Cost includes all materials. No tools required. Class size is limited to 8 students.
